Abstract Fringe
We all are are made up a of millions of experiences that bring us to who we are today. Some good, some grotesque, but all of our experiences make up who we are today. The soul of man is very deep and everything that happens during our lifetimes in stored inside of us. It lives inside our subconscious. I have found this to be true just by living day to day. I also find that unresolved issues pop up like boogiemen during moment of crisis. The issue pops up and says, "HEY REMEMBER ME!!! I'M STILL HERE! YOU HAVE TO DEAL WITH ME RIGHT NOW!!! When I face a crisis I acknowledge my many boogiemen and learn from them all. I learn that whatever happened, whenever it happened has to be dealt with. I actual stop during these moments of panic and focus on the issue causing my terror and I deal with it. That gives me power to step over the issue and move forward. This also has made me listen more carefully to myself and not doubt myself. Because all the power I need in this life is the control over myself.
The Prayer - Oil on Canvas
This is where many of my Deep Mind Paintings come from. It is comes from a place that lives inside of all of my experiences, in everything that makes up who I am at the time I create each particular painting. Like with the painting, "The Prayer", it started out to be another painting but as I was painting it I saw something and I stopped and just start to listen to the painting. Letting the painting quietly speak to me. That is the hardest part of painting these paintings. I have to trust and wait to see where the painting should go. As I look at the painting it speaks to me and I have to listen to the almost silent voice of the painting. So fragile and beautiful this voice but when it is allowed to survive it becomes something magical. My hope is that you will enjoy these paintings and let them speak to you in some small way. Thank you very much for spend a small part of your day with artchiz Studios |
