Commission your Fine Art Portrait

The majority of artchiz Studios sales come from commissioned portraits painted from photos. Because a portrait often becomes an important piece of art in a family, it is crucial for the artist and client to work closely together to plan each step of the process.

Several good-quality photo is VERY important. If the image is blurry, small or not well-lighted, the portrait will not be successful. Candid, casual photos taken with soft, natural light are ideally suited for portraits. Studio shots are copyrighted and cannot be used without written permission from the photographer.

By sending me an e-mail of your image, I will be able to tell you if your photo has the necessary components for the perfect oil painting.

Your Satisfaction is my Highest Priority.

For clients in the New York Metropolitan Area, I prefer to set up a photo session and work directly with the client to plan the portrait.
